Crouching. A simple move added in Mega Man X5, but such a handy option. You can duck big blasts of lava, avoid cheap shots, and miss sharp spikes above. This is the reason X5 is my favorite in the Mega Man X series. If they ever make another X game, I hope crouching is available!
